New compentancies for the job hunt

Simple as it may sound but in spite of our awareness of the internet and the placement industry we are still floundering in the dark about what strategy works.

The Indian Job seeker may not have noticed, but the trade has grown in status from Paneer to Cheese.
The desi stuff has bloomed into slick electronics, but have we found real solutions? Home grown straregies  must flower into solutions otherwise get discarded.
It is difficult to evaluate the efficiency of the job market information and service systems, primarily because of the diversity of job seekers and also because such an evaluation would be based on the success of individual job seekers.
To take a large perspective would be like trying to teach calculus to a baby. And, to take a small one would be statistically unsound.
So, we are on our own.

Battling issues of our individual survival, and measuring our job hunt success by our personal parameters. We grope in the dark without a candle.
The solutions lie in the realization that job hunting is less about talent and more about methodology. The only one we know who reached the wrong place and got fame and success is Mr. C. Columbus. Not all people who get lost have such luck.
